When Max, a sleep-deprived mom in the throes of postpartum anxiety, hits her limit on navigating modern mom culture, a sarcastic storybook rabbit comes to life to be her only ally.
Max Griffin was a high-powered lawyer with a great marriage, total freedom, and friends who understood her. That was before.
Now, Max has a baby, and her extreme isolation, anxiety, and desperate attempts to keep up with LA mom culture are taking her to a pretty dark place.
When a mysterious British children’s book appears on her doorstep, Max begins to hallucinate Dick Bunny–a sarcastic man-rabbit who is precisely the ally Max needs as she navigates her new life.
DICK BUNNY explores anxiety and loneliness and an unraveling psyche through the lens of modern motherhood.
DICK BUNNY's season finale closes with the original song, "Lean In."

Crockett, played with her band, The Evangenitals, and sung by DICK BUNNY star Kim Griffin, the song contains multitudes, evoking moody, brooding eighties power ballads, and a Shiny Happy-kinda chorus. Katie Locke O'Brien
Katie has directed for a multitude of premium, streaming, and cable platforms working with comedy legends such as Christopher Lloyd, Kenan Thompson, and Bradley Whitford, among others. Part of the inaugural class of NBC's Female Forward Initiative, which launched her episodic career and led to work on episodic comedies including Ghosts, The Santa Clauses, AP Bio, The Wonder Years, DMV, Perfect Harmony, Saved by the Bell, and more.
As a writer, Katie has developed projects with IFC, ABC, and WB. As an actress, she has appeared in series including Justified, Chuck, Community, I'm Dying Up Here, and Weeds. She starred in and produced the 2019 festival feature The Thing Before the Thing, streaming on Amazon. Next year, Katie will make her feature directorial debut with Hot Mess.

Susie Mendoza
Susie is a screenwriter, producer, author, and mom with a puppet brain. She is a graduate of The Second City and was a finalist for the CBS Writing Fellowship in 2020. Her script won “Best Romantic Comedy” at The Broad Humor Festival in 2012.
Susie’s essays are published on McSweeneys, Scary Mommy, Mom.com, UpWorthy, and The Pregnant Chicken. An adaptation of her McSweeney's essay, "The Biggest Challenge of Parenting is becoming a Human Meat Suit", is being developed for animation. Her recent article, "Simple, Not Contradictory Rules to Motherhood," echoes the impossible societal expectations seen in Dick Bunny.
Susie’s picture book Natty and Mo marks her debut as an author/illustrator. When she isn't writing, she enjoys chatting to her husband while he tries to read silently.

Kim wonders, "what is worse than writing a bio for yourself?" An actor who has appeared at theaters like IAMA Theatre Co., in Isaac Gomez's RADICAL, or are you gonna miss me?, and the Humana Festival of New American Plays, where she originated the role of Simone in Molly Smith Metzler's Elemeno Pea, Kim loves new works. As a comic, Kim has played Haha's and Flapper's, among others. Film & TV credits include Cursed Friends for Comedy Central, A Lotus Til Reckoning, and horror short Who's There? by Zak White. She is the voice of Nordstrom Rack for the US & Canada.
